The Seagull and the Ugly Lopapeysa


Penises will be posted shortly, but to tide you over, here is a stuffed seagull and the world's worst Icelandic sweater.  Enjoy.

    In Iceland do they just call them "sweaters"?

    Peysa is sweater, but there are several variations. Lopapeysa means wool sweater, and is what you use when talking about what we would call the Icelandic sweater. Fleespeysa is a fleece sweater, and peysa can also be a long sleeved shirt it seems. Icelandic is a super specific language.

    Anyway, this photo is truly iconic. Reminds me of being cold and singing with a pint of Egils gull smuggled out of Bakkus.
