Peysa is sweater, but there are several variations. Lopapeysa means wool sweater, and is what you use when talking about what we would call the Icelandic sweater. Fleespeysa is a fleece sweater, and peysa can also be a long sleeved shirt it seems. Icelandic is a super specific language.
